Getting the job done during the extremes of the late-season requires pulling out all the stops. Leave nothing to chance; the ScentLok Bowhunter Elite Series Fortress Parka makes it possible for bowhunters to not only endure the frigid temperatures, biting winds, and driving snow, ice, and sleet of the late season, it allows them to thrive in it.

Designed and built for elite bowhunters willing to put in the time it takes to outsmart big-beamed bucks, the 100% waterproof, windproof, and breathable BE:1 Fortress Parka features a soft, quiet, and flexible brushed fleece shell fabric, thermal-mapped PrimaloftTM Silver insulation for perfect warmth, and proprietary ScentLok Carbon AlloyTM technology for maximum odor adsorption. Purposely tailored for optimum bowhunting performance, the BE:1 Fortress Parka is engineered with compression and sculpting for minimal bulk, ten pockets for storing gear and warming hands, plus a concealed opening to keep the safety harness secure and close to the body while providing maximum scent control. Extremely archery-friendly, the BE:1 Fortress Parka’s articulated elbows ensure exceptional comfort and range of motion throughout the draw, while the articulated hood’s three-piece construction reduces bulk and allows for a positive anchor point.

Industry Leading Carbon Alloy Technology

Our industry leading technology combines activated carbon, treated carbon and zeolite concealed between fabrics. The massive surface area of these natural particles target and adsorb odors and won't let go until you reactivate your gear in your dryer.

Windproof membrane helps keep you warm, comfortable & dry

A high performance laminate system blocks the wind while allowing moisture and perspiration to escape from the inside to help keep you warm, comfortable & dry.

Waterproof membrane with taped seams

A waterproof & windproof membrane that’s impermeable to outside moisture. Without affecting breathability and allowing moisture from the inside to disperse through the membrane system. Garment seams are secured with heat sealed waterproof tape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Nice Suit This suit really checks all the boxes. Can use it for gun or bow. It's more quiet than the MT050 and other waterproof suits. But not as quiet as the sitka fanatic and other non waterproof berber suits. But I'm really impressed through my first season. Warm as all get out. The fact they were able to get a waterproof suit this quiet is pretty amazing. Lots of storage, and love the large pouches inside the jacket to stuff my gloves. Hand pockets are real nice and at the perfect level. The bibs are nice. I wish they had some chest pockets vs knee pockets. But hey, if it was perfect they'd never be able to update it :) nice job scentlok team. This suit is a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over built and warm I wanted to test this product before writing a full review of it. And I’m glad I didn’t. Initial quality was very impressive. You could tell from trying it on that it was very well made, even overbuilt, and had great features. But would it keep me warm? Short answer, yes!! I worn a simple base layer and the heated vest they offer. Not once did I turn on the vest. This parka kept the wind at bay and kept me very warm. All day sits were a breeze provided I brought enough snacks and could pass the time. The weather element was now removed! The removable hood is nice for archery on non rain days. Pair this with the bibs and your golden. Seriously.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warmth without the bulk I overall loved the jacket! It's extremely warm without being bulky. I hunted numerous sub 20 degree Ohio January days this year and this jacket kept me in stand. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is I feel like the opening for the harness could be higher as it would sometimes ride up in the back. Also the hood was a little stiff and restrictive but that is easily removed with the zipper. I also loved the numerous pockets and zippered sleeves for when extra layers are needed underneath. I would highly recommend for late season hunts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great, but small improvements needed. I would give this 5 stars if I based it sold on comfort and warmth. However I would say there is some small (not deal breakers) that would put this coat over the top. Not to take away from the comfort, warmth, fit and pocket placements. 1) the zipper is pretty difficult to start, and tends to get caught in the flap. 2) I question how well the chest pockets will hold up with out a bit more reinforcement. Weight of an arm and a gun might wear this out quickly. 3) pockets should have a slight downward angle to prevent items from wanting to fall out 4) waterproofing is a little squeaky while hand are in the chest pockets Over all it seems to be a great coat and I look forward to many hunts with it. 3xlt fits great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat for late season I had the opportunity to hunt with the Fortress coat and bibs in January in Ohio and I echo what others say that it feels like hunting in a cozy warm blanket. The pockets are great. The zipper for the hands are a nice touch. I found them to be quiet. The temperatures I had used the Fortress were in the mid teens with a mid and heat weight base layer. If it was near zero maybe consider a mid layer too if you are cold blooded like me but otherwise a heavyweight base only would be fine. I think the quality is great and I have had Sitka and First Lite and still gravitate towards Scentlok for the best performance and value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Second Review after full season of use I'm writing this second review after having used this suit for a full season. The first was based off of initial reactions. The good: the suit is very warm. When I pulled the hood up I really was toasty. Unfortunately that's it. The Bad: when I tested this suit initially I left it outside in 20 degree weather for several hours and did not notice any of the creaking other reviews have mentioned. However, after sitting in this suit for more than 80 hours, I have to confirm it creaks louder than any suit I've ever worn. I could hear every breath I took. They have the membrane stretched so tight that there's no way it could be quiet when and friction is applied. Especially since that creaking gets even louder when cold. It also gets very cold, and the problem with that is that there is not a lot of insulation between the membrane and the pockets. So when your hands are in the pockets you can really feel how cold that membrane is. They should add several layers of insulation between the pocket and the membrane. I found most of the pockets to be unusable due to this. All that said, it's a decent late season rifle suit but I don't see it being a sufficiently quiet bow suit. I wish I could return it for a refund but alas, I'm stuck with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for frigid temps!!! This Parka saved me last year! Unusual below zero temps with high winds snuck up on us last year and I was still able to spend all day on stand in this suit with no issues! Never got cold! If you want a suit for very cold temps, BE:1 Fortress is the way to go!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice jacket but sleeves fall short Nice warm jacket for tree stand hunting late season! I love almost everything about it except that the sleeves ride up my wrist quite substantially and I do not have overly king arms. What a bummer I love the jacket but when it’s really cold I can’t have my sleeves rolling up! Also I feel like the pockets and compartments are a little excessive I mean how much stuff do you need on you? If you need to bring that much stuff bring a bag and hang it in the tree next to you. Love the jacket overall but sending it back becasue of the sleeves
