New Insyte and Insyte Lite Pants offer a modern fit, unencumbered movement, and fortification with key ScentLok technologies
We’re in a marked era of innovation in field pants. Only a scant few hunters still walk the woods and grasslands in tattered jeans or boxy workpants. Thinking fabric-first, for the Insyte Pant, ScentLok selected an exquisite single-layer, 4-way stretch material constructed of a 247g woven polyester with water repellent treatment. Featuring lighter material, the Insyte Lite Pant sports a 175g blend of 96% nylon and 4% spandex backside twill with water repellent treatment. “We nailed the stretch across the board,” said Allie. The advanced 4-way stretch, nylon/spandex twill fabric is infinitely comfortable and gives with your every move, not constricting while kneeling or sitting like pants using traditional woven materials. Speaking of kneeling, and walking for that matter, your activity is further improved by precision cut and sewn articulated knees.
The cut of the crotch area also matters. The Insyte and Insyte Lite Pants offer a gusseted crotch. That means a unique piece of fabric is sewn where the leg panels come together. This encourages freedom of movement without bunching.
Insyte versions also boast a couple significant ScentLok technologies: Silver Alloy™ and Fusix™.
Silver Alloy™ Silver Alloy is based on a silver salt solution applied to the fabric to control the growth of bacteria in the harshest environments. This dyeable fiber will not wear out and lasts the life of the garment.
Fusix™
Fusix is a proprietary natural anti-odor treatment that effectively removes ambient odors such as smoke or cooking fumes. Odor molecules are adsorbed and broken down to keep the fabric fresh, reducing the need to frequently reactivate or wash the garment.
Onto the functional-features of the Insyte and Insyte Lite Pants… Most notable are the pair of side-seam vent zippers, which allow for temperature regulation. Stay zipped when you trek out in darkness on a chilly morning, and unzip when your inner-motor revs up and the sun pops.
Precisely positioned pockets are also in the Insyte and Insyte Lite Pants’ DNA. A generous seven pockets include two waist, two zip cargo, two zip back, and a right-side knife pocket. And no need to change pants after the hunt. You’ll look stylish for dinner and drinks.
