Gloves
As any well-versed scent-conscious hunter will tell you, odors are concentrated in areas that contain sweat glands, foreign contaminants and oils. No other area on the body spreads these types of odors in your hunting area easier than the hands. However, the Scent-Lok® team has been hard at work to create products that reduce the spread of unwanted odors and enhances performance when your trophy is in your sights.
All of our gloves feature robust construction for long-lasting durability. We cut our gloves to form-fit for good “feel” regardless of hunting method and feature anti-slipping palms for safety and security. But no other benefit tops the thrill of getting your hands on a trophy of a lifetime.
Headcovers
One of the biggest contributors of human scent is the head and neck area. Some of the major factors are breath, heat coming from the top of the head and air escaping through the neck from the chest area. However, we have an array of headcovers to keep all that in check.
Our line-up accommodates any hunter in any hunting situation, from the ultralight BaseSlayers™ headcover designed for early season heat and perspiration wicking to the Stocking Cap that will keep heat in during the coldest days in the field.
It is recommended that serious hunters purchase two headcovers as the large amount of odor fills this critical area quicker then the other less odor-producing zones.
Liquids
We have engineered all Scent-Lok® garments to be used as a system for success in the field. We want all equipment and gear to be scent-free when you are in the field, and our liquids help with that chore.
Socks
About VisaEndurance®
Whether you are an avid hiker or seasoned hunter, VisaEndurance has something to offer you. When you sweat in traditional socks, the sweat is wicked away from your skin and stored in the fibers — where it grows bacteria before the moisture evaporates. And bacteria, is a component of your smelly feet.
However, VisaEndurance®, is made from a microfiber polyester that has been embedded with silver ions. It is these silver ions that prevent the growth of bacteria, and bacteria is a contributor to that odor that you hear others, like your wife, complain about. In addition to helping control the growth of bacteria, Scent-Lok activated carbon is used in combination to help adsorb many of the odors that aren’t associated with bacteria. What’s left is less stink in the field, the office or…anywhere.
The miles covered by hunters when scouting and hunting game is felt nowhere more than on the feet. As those miles add up, feet can become the scent conscious hunter’s worst enemy at the moment of truth. With this in mind, we have designed our footwear to reduce unwanted odor and also be one of the most comfortable socks you will ever own.
Our socks are treated with VisaEndurance® which helps prevent odor caused by bacteria. Add to that our patented odor adsorbing, activated carbon technology and you have a combination of foot odor control that is unsurpassed. So when you step into the woods, you can rest assured that you will remain comfortable and undetected – head to toe.
Storage
Storing your Scent-Lok® gear is one of the keys that unlocks success in the field. Our garments are constantly adsorbing odors and contaminants in the air that surrounds them and to see the maximum benefits those odors must be minimized.
We’ve developed a line of storage options that is perfect for long and short-term storage. From the airtight storage sack that virtually locks odor out to the duffel bag, which can be perfect for the trip to the cabin, your gear will enter the field fresh and ready for the task at hand. In addition, our packs keep your gear protected from a buck’s nose.
